William S. White Winnetka is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology as well as Columbia University where he received his Juris Doctorate and his MBA in Finance. William began his career at the Lehman Brothers in their real estate and investment banking division. He realized quickly that he wanted to make a change. He decided to move into private equity at NorthStar Captial Investment. Consequently, he continued working in this sector until he founded the Montessori Academy of Chicago.
William S. White Winnetka is a successful entrepreneur with a strong financial background, legal training, and business acumen to identify opportunities for process improvements, new efficiencies, and future growth and expansion. Currently, William is the co-owner/co-founder of the Montessori Academy of Chicago. This is the only school in Chicago that is accredited by the American Montessori Society. This school provides facilities for students ranging from infant to 8th grade.
Finally, he is the father of two teenage boys who enjoy numerous outdoor activities. Some of these include: cycling, wakeboarding/wakesurfing, and skiing. In his free time William enjoys woodworking, specifically making furniture.
